and Bob Sanchuk
A behind-the-scenes creative duo helping growth-minded leaders, entrepreneurs and marketing teams expand their professional capacity.
We totally get it — you have a lot on your plate.
You’re making decisions, juggling meetings and solving problems every day on wash, rinse and repeat. Strategic branding and marketing may not be your priority but you also know it’s too important to ignore. And, if you’d rather something be done well than simply be marked as done, we’re standing on some common ground.
While you are an expert in your brand and business, our superpowers lie in examining how they can be developed. We live for blending leaders’ and entrepreneurs’ passion, thoughts, ideas and intentions with research, strategy and creativity to strengthen a brand in all the best ways. Interpreting the nuances of every client and actually helping to solve their problems (and not just “making things look pretty”) is one of the best parts of being a branding consultant.
Every project we dive into is distributed between two seasoned professionals. Nothing we do is cookie-cutter or “spray and pay” — and we like it that way.
Ask us about strategic marketing and communications, branding, commercial photography (products, places and people), copywriting, videography, custom illustration, infographics and website design.
We like to break it down into Strategy • Story • Style.
Story.
You and your teammates hold so much institutional knowledge in your brains.
Style.
It’s never all about looks, but let’s be honest — they’re pretty damn important.
As a behind-the-scenes fractional marketing partner, we have one goal — to help your business, products and people stand out in a competitive market.

In the summer of 2019, days after walking away from a near-fatal car accident, the idea for a small branding and marketing consulting practice was born. Rather than try to conjure up a creative business name, Jenny Hetro, owner and chief creative strategist, took decisive action instead — filing paperwork with the state as simply Jennifer Lee Hetro, LLC and anticipating naming the company something clever in 2020. The time to rebrand never came. In the first few years, the business snowballed through word-of-mouth referrals and repeat client work. (Now that we’re a team of two, this company name doesn’t even make sense anymore … but here we are!)
The business transitioned into an S-Corp in early 2022 and welcomed its second full-time teammate, Bob Sanchuk, later that year. While the company offers the same services as a creative agency, the delivery model is a little different. Clients have direct access to two responsive, accessible and competent high-level resources and are never pinged through a labyrinth of project managers, media buyers, junior designers or project management apps. Nearly all project work is handled in-house, and a robust network of trusted professional resources are at-the-ready to address niche work as needed.
Partnering with clients who prioritize high-quality work, open and responsive communication, respect, and collaborative growth has been key to the company’s success.
Jennifer Lee Hetro, LLC (DBA Jenny Hetro, LLC) is a certified Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) and maintains an active registration with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

We earmark blocks of pro bono professional service hours each year to support select nonprofits or woman-owned small businesses in our region. Along with the obvious benefits of any community give-back initiative, this setup lets us meaningfully share our time and talents without tapping into the personal time we want to spend with their families. Across 2024 and 2025, we contributed 250+ pro bono service hours to organizations and causes we deeply care about.
If you’re searching for a branding and marketing partner to help make your business, products and people look really good, you’re in the right place.
Don’t just take our word for it.
Ask us about our work with:
Ready to collaborate?
If working together makes sense,
better to get moving sooner than later.
Let’s get moving.
Please note, we typically book new client projects approx. 4-5 weeks out. If you aren’t in an immediate rush and the timing aligns, we’d love to put our brains to work for you. We like to think it’s a little bit like the old adage — “good things come to those who wait.”
Here are some ways we can collaborate:
Custom, project-based proposal
If you know exactly what your organization needs — for example, you’re sure you need a new logo and brand identity or you want to start mailing custom-designed, four-page quarterly newsletters to new clients — we are happy to provide a custom, project-based proposal.
Project rates are typically discounted to reflect the efficiency gained from completing a well-defined scope of work in a structured timeframe. Custom, project-based proposals are perfect for complete branding or rebranding efforts, multi-phase marketing plans or campaigns, audience research — including interviews or assessments, copywriting and/or graphic design of long-form reports or thought leadership — or team photography and videography. If you don’t know exactly what you need but you know you need some help, we recommend starting with a Brand Assessment Sprint and Audit to outline realistic ideas, challenges, opportunities, tactics and cost ranges that make sense for your team, timing and budget.
Monthly retainers
Depending on your needs, working on a retainer basis may make sense. In this structure, we provide ongoing strategy, branding, marketing, design and photography services for a set number of hours or projects each month in exchange for a consistent fee.
This arrangement ensures you have priority access to our team. With a retainer agreement, we’ll get to know you and your brand, team members, processes and working style inside and out, so you can expect consistent quality and faster turnaround times as the relationship continues.
Retainer agreements allow you to manage your budget predictably and get access to reliable strategic support without waiting for custom quotes, scheduling, contracts or renegotiating each project or request.
Please note that we only accept a handful of retainer clients and adhere to a six-month minimum timeframe for this option. We strive to retain control of internal bandwidth — never overextending ourselves or under-delivering for the existing clients we already know and love — so access to this retainer structure is highly limited.
Ad hoc and on-demand
This setup can be a strategic choice if you need flexibility and ongoing (but sporadic) support and you aren’t able to pre-plan for a specific project in advance. While our ad hoc and on-demand hourly rates are higher than a project-based estimate, you get on-demand access to our team when you need it. With ad hoc and on-demand hours, there’s no need for you to come up with work for us to do just to use the hours. Ad hoc and on-demand work is billed at a one-hour minimum, per request, and in 15-minute units following the first hour.
Pro bono service hours
We earmark blocks of pro bono professional service hours each year to support select nonprofits or woman-owned small businesses in our region. If you run a nonprofit or woman-owned small business, ask us about our available pro bono hours. While accessing any available pro bono service hours will require a paid one-to-one match (ex. purchase one VIP day, get a second one at no cost), these pro bono hours can significantly help stretch your limited and finite resources for the greater good.
VIP day(s)
We offer dedicated, full-day sessions focused exclusively on you and your identified needs. Carving out uninterrupted time allows us to implement a specific solution, address many miscellaneous items or handle a pie-in-the-sky deliverable in mere days — not across drawn-out weeks or months. (This is also commonly referred to in the industry as a “Book Us by the Day” or “Day Rate” setup.)
This intensive approach ensures high-quality outcomes and quick turnaround. VIP full- or half-days are ideal for addressing priority findings from a Brand Assessment Sprint and Audit. Since detailed recommendations in a Brand Assessment Sprint and Audit are formatted like an easy-to-follow “to-do” list, we can jump in and tackle specific tasks in order of priority and impact. Plus, with the pay-per-day structure, you have complete control of the budget, the work gets done efficiently and we don’t have to worry about scope creep.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to actually start and finish important projects and lingering tasks? We promise you, it is totally possible, and you're going to love it.
How it works:
We'll do pre-work together (on a 30-minute call) and talk about a realistic plan. What kinds of projects are on your plate that you can't find time to tackle? Do you need more than an updated tri-fold but can't find a minute to even think about creating a catchy campaign and supporting collateral? Do you have multiple, smaller projects or tasks lingering on your mind but they never actually make it to the top of your priority list? PS — you know as well as we do that those projects aren't going away no matter how good you've become at neglecting them.
After our call, you'll gather and share any assets like photos, logos, archived or current marketing collateral for reference, etc. This way, we have everything we need to really wrap our heads around what we're working with and what we need to build.
We’ll book your dedicated day(s) and get to work when the day comes.
VIP days work well for:
VIP days are also ideal for website audits or updates, creating email marketing campaigns or templates, developing a refreshed deck for a sales team, writing blog posts or content for a specific service line, illustrating a custom infographic, setup of an event-specific landing page, or crafting a lead magnet, e-book or white paper.
No day like today.
It never hurts to have a conversation. We’d love to hear about the project(s) you have in mind. If we can help you, we will. And, if we can’t, we can recommend some niche professionals or agencies that might be a more ideal fit. No pressure — just a chat.
